What an 18-watt UV-C lamp adds to HEPA
True HEPA physically captures airborne microorganisms along with dust, but they stay on the filter. Adding an 18-watt germicidal UV-C lamp gives the airstream a second stage aimed at microorganisms as they pass, rated at 30,000 microwatts per square centimeter. Carbon handles gases and odor, so each of the three stages covers a job the others cannot.
It acts on microorganisms in the airstream; it is not a medical device and does not treat, cure, or prevent any condition.

Description

Air passes through a UV-C chamber aimed at airborne microorganisms, then through a true HEPA stage that captures 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 microns, with activated carbon for gases and odor. Three mechanisms, each handling what the others cannot.
Choose 600 for spaces up to roughly 2,000 square feet, or 700 for up to roughly 2,500. Built in an all-steel housing with no off-gassing plastic, made in Canada, and engineered to run continuously. It belongs to the Elevate layer of the Kove stack: the environment you recover in.
