Airpura Microorganisms UV Air Purifier — UV600 & UV700
- Extra defense in the room you recover in, germicidal UV targets airborne microorganisms
- Fine dust and particles: true HEPA, 99.97% at 0.3 microns
- 18 lb of activated carbon clears lingering odors and gases
An 18-watt UV-C lamp in the airstream. Why that matters
True HEPA physically captures airborne microorganisms along with dust, but they stay on the filter. Adding an 18-watt germicidal UV-C lamp gives the airstream a second stage aimed at microorganisms as they pass, rated at 30,000 microwatts per square centimeter. Carbon handles gases and odor. Three stages running at once, each doing the part the others cannot.
It acts on microorganisms in the airstream; it is not a medical device and does not treat, cure, or prevent any condition.

Recommended pairing
The germicidal UV lamp inside this purifier fades with use, so its rated output drops before anything looks wrong. Keep a genuine replacement on hand to swap it on schedule and hold the UV-C chamber at full strength against airborne microorganisms.

Description
You take more than 20,000 breaths a day, and the air inside your home is the exposure you can most directly control. The Airpura Microorganisms UV is built for spaces where biological air quality is the priority.
Air passes through a UV-C chamber designed to target airborne microorganisms, then through a true HEPA stage that captures 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 microns, with activated carbon for gases and odor. Three mechanisms, each handling what the others cannot.
Choose 600 for spaces up to roughly 2,000 square feet, or 700 for up to roughly 2,500. Built in an all-steel housing with no off-gassing plastic, made in Canada, and engineered to run continuously. It anchors the Elevate layer of the Kove stack: the environment you recover in.
Key details
Airpura Microorganisms UV Air Purifier (UV600 & UV700) is a three-stage air purifier with a UV lamp, True HEPA, and activated carbon. It covers up to 2,000 sq ft and moves 560 CFM on the 600 or 635 CFM free-flow on the 700. The True HEPA filter captures 99.97% of particles at 0.3 microns, backed by an 18W germicidal UV lamp at 30,000 microwatt/cm² sec and 18 lb of activated carbon. HEPA life is 4 yr on the 600 or 3 to 5 yr on the 700, carbon 2 yr, UV lamp 18 mo.
It is built for rooms where the concern is mold and microorganisms.
Is this right for you?
You'll get the most from it if
- Biological air quality is your specific concern, beyond the dust and odor most buyers focus on.
- You keep windows closed much of the year, so the same indoor air keeps recirculating.
- It suits a bedroom-plus-living setup where one central unit reaches the rooms you use most.
- You are fine swapping the UV lamp every 18 months as part of normal upkeep.
Maybe look elsewhere if
- You would rather skip lamp replacements; the All-Purpose R600 covers particles and gases with no lamp.
- You want a small, portable unit; this is a full-size steel floor purifier.

Why it earns a place in the stack. This lives in the Elevate layer, the part of the stack about the room you recover in. It runs three stages at once: UV-C on airborne microorganisms, true HEPA on fine particles, carbon on gases and odor. It cleared the same bar as everything here, a mechanism we can explain and results we stand behind after you buy.

Our approach
Every product earns its place.
No single thing changes your biology on its own. What matters is the system, and whether each piece earns its place. Here is how a device makes it into Kove.
01
Start with the evidence
Where there is research behind how something works, we read it. We look at the real mechanism a device relies on, like the wavelength, the frequency, or the dose, and whether the evidence holds up. Substance comes before marketing, and we are honest about how strong that evidence is.
02
Separate mechanism from marketing
A claim is not a mechanism. We check a device's real output against its stated one: does the panel emit the 660 and 850nm it advertises, at the irradiance that makes those numbers matter? The marketing language gets set aside. The measurable spec is what we judge.
03
Verify build and dose
Even a good idea does nothing if the hardware is weak. We confirm the output is consistent, the dose is usable in a real daily routine, and the build holds up over years, because a device only helps if it lasts as long as the habit.
04
Held to one standard
What clears every step earns its place in the system, held to the same standard as everything else. That consistency is what you can count on.
