Two filter stages for two kinds of pollution
A HEPA mesh is a physical net. It traps solid particles down to 0.3 microns, but gases slip straight through the fibers. That is why this unit pairs it with 18 lb of activated carbon in a 2-inch bed, where odors and VOCs stick to the surface instead. Description

A true HEPA filter captures airborne particles down to 0.3 microns: dust, pollen, mold spores, and fine particulate matter. Behind it, a deep bed of activated carbon adsorbs the gases that HEPA cannot hold: VOCs, smoke, and everyday household chemistry. It is the balanced, do-everything unit of the line.
