Airpura All-Purpose Air Purifier — R600 & R700
- Breathe cleaner air: true HEPA captures 99.97% of fine particles
- Fresher-smelling rooms: 18 lb of activated carbon adsorbs VOCs and smoke
- Built like an appliance, not a gadget: all-steel housing, no plastic off-gassing, filters that last years
HEPA for particles, carbon for gases. Why that matters
A HEPA mesh is a physical net. It traps solid particles down to 0.3 microns but gases slip straight through the fibers. That is why this pairs it with 18 lb of activated carbon in a 2-inch bed, where odors and VOCs stick to the surface instead. Two stages, because particles and gases are two different problems.
It is an air purifier that filters the air in a room; it is not a medical device and does not treat, cure, or prevent any condition.

Recommended pairing
The All-Purpose runs continuously, and its HEPA stage is the layer that loads up with dust, pollen, and mold spores over 3 to 5 years. This genuine Airpura HEPA filter fits both the R600 and R700, swaps in minutes with no tools, and restores particle capture to day one when the time comes.

Description
You breathe roughly 20,000 times a day, and the air indoors is often more polluted than the air outside. The Airpura All-Purpose cleans the air in your living spaces through two mechanisms working in sequence.
A true HEPA filter captures airborne particles down to 0.3 microns: dust, pollen, mold spores, and fine particulate matter. Behind it, a deep bed of activated carbon adsorbs the gases that HEPA cannot hold: VOCs, smoke, and everyday household chemistry. It is the balanced, do-everything unit of the line.
Why it belongs in your stack: You spend most of your life indoors, so the quality of that air is worth controlling. Clean the air in the spaces where you spend the most time, every hour of every day, whether you are paying attention to it or not.
Choose 600 for spaces up to roughly 2,000 square feet, or 700 for up to roughly 2,500. Built to last in an all-steel housing with no off-gassing plastic, a 360-degree air intake, and filters engineered for years of service rather than months. It anchors the Elevate layer of the Kove stack: the environment you recover in.
Is this right for you?
You'll get the most from it if
- This is your first purifier and you would rather not diagnose your air before buying.
- One central unit fits your layout; it is sized to treat a whole floor, not one room at a time.
- Set-and-forget suits you: a speed dial and an occasional prefilter vacuum, no app or sensors to manage.
- You want it where you sleep or lounge; on low it is quiet enough to leave running overnight.
Maybe look elsewhere if
- Odors or off-gassing are your number one issue; the Odor-Free or SuperGas units carry deeper carbon for that.
- You want something small and light for a desk or bedside; this is a 42 lb steel floor unit.

Why it earns a place in the stack. Everything else in your routine happens indoors, and this is the piece that covers the room itself: HEPA for particles, a deep carbon bed for the gases HEPA cannot hold, running around the clock in the Elevate layer. A 360-degree intake draws from every side of the room while it runs.

Our approach
Every product earns its place.
No single thing changes your biology on its own. What matters is the system, and whether each piece earns its place. Here is how a device makes it into Kove.
01
Start with the evidence
Where there is research behind how something works, we read it. We look at the real mechanism a device relies on, like the wavelength, the frequency, or the dose, and whether the evidence holds up. Substance comes before marketing, and we are honest about how strong that evidence is.
02
Separate mechanism from marketing
A claim is not a mechanism. We check a device's real output against its stated one: does the panel emit the 660 and 850nm it advertises, at the irradiance that makes those numbers matter? The marketing language gets set aside. The measurable spec is what we judge.
03
Verify build and dose
Even a good idea does nothing if the hardware is weak. We confirm the output is consistent, the dose is usable in a real daily routine, and the build holds up over years, because a device only helps if it lasts as long as the habit.
04
Held to one standard
What clears every step earns its place in the system, held to the same standard as everything else. That consistency is what you can count on.
