Every guide on this site follows the same rules: claims track what published research actually measured, limits get stated as plainly as benefits, specs come from manufacturer documentation and are checked against it, and every page shows its dates. Here is the process in full.
Why this page exists
Kove sells longevity devices, and we also publish guides about the science behind them. That combination deserves scrutiny, so we would rather put the rules in writing than ask for benefit of the doubt. If you ever find a page of ours that breaks these rules, we want to know: support@kovelongevity.com.
What our content will and will not claim
- We describe what studies measured, in the populations they measured it, and we say where evidence is mixed or thin. Every major guide carries a section on what a technology will not do.
- We do not make disease or treatment claims. Nothing we sell is presented as diagnosing, treating, curing, or preventing any condition, and our guides do not imply otherwise.
- We do not claim every product is backed by published science. Evidence differs by category, and our guides say so category by category.
- Regulatory language is used precisely. FDA cleared, FDA registered, and FDA approved mean different things, and each product page carries the strongest claim that device can honestly make, verified against the manufacturer's documentation. Our clearance explainer covers the difference.
Where the facts come from
- Research claims summarize peer-reviewed literature: controlled trials and systematic reviews where they exist, with honest framing where only smaller studies do.
- Product specifications come from manufacturer documentation and spec sheets, and we note the measurement method where it matters, such as whether irradiance was measured with a lab spectroradiometer or a solar meter, and at what distance. Where a figure is manufacturer-published rather than independently verified, we say so.
- Prices and availability in guides are dated, and the product page is always the source of truth.
How content is produced
Our guides are drafted with the help of AI research tools and finished by people. Every page is edited, checked against the product documentation and the research it cites, reviewed against the claim rules above, and approved by a person at Kove before it goes live. Drafting tools speed up the work; they do not get the final word, and nothing publishes without human review.
Dates, updates, and corrections
- Every guide shows when it was last updated, at the top of the page.
- Guides are re-reviewed on a rolling cycle, and sooner when products change, prices move, or new research warrants it.
- If we get something wrong, we correct the page and update its date. Errors can be reported to support@kovelongevity.com and a person reads every one.
How products get onto this site
The catalog is deliberately small. Products earn a place through the standards described in The Kove Standard: published specifications, honest regulatory status, real warranties honored by the manufacturer, and a category evidence base worth writing about. We link only to our own product and guide pages in customer-facing content, and our guides recommend product categories by fit, never by margin.
The commercial relationship, plainly
Kove is a store. Our guides link to products we sell, and we earn money when you buy them. We do not run third-party ads, sponsored posts, or affiliate links, so the only commercial interest behind any recommendation is the obvious one, and we keep it honest by publishing the limits of every category alongside the benefits.
