Infrared Sauna

Heat is a stressor, not a comfort. The benefit comes from what your body does in response to it.

Frequently asked questions

How is infrared different from a traditional sauna?
A traditional sauna heats the air around you. Infrared panels warm the body directly at lower air temperatures, which many people find easier to sit through while still working up a deep sweat.
Portable or cabin?
Portable saunas like the Thera360 fold away and set up in minutes, which suits apartments and smaller spaces. Cabins ask more of your space and budget. If you are starting out, portable is the practical entry point.
Is a sauna blanket as good as a sauna?
A blanket delivers a real far infrared sweat session lying down, folds flat between uses, and costs a fraction of a cabin. The trade is posture and ritual rather than heat quality. Our sauna guide compares the formats in detail.
What should I look for in a home sauna?
Low EMF ratings, non-toxic materials, and a warranty you can point to. Every sauna listed here states its warranty in the Warranty section of the product page.
How long is a typical session?
Most people run 20 to 40 minutes a few times a week and adjust from there. Start shorter, drink water, and build up as it feels right.
Do these need special wiring?
No. The blankets draw 600 watts and the Thera360 draws 900 watts, so both run on a standard grounded household outlet. No electrician involved.
Who should be careful with sauna use?
Anyone pregnant, managing a heart condition or blood pressure issues, or on medications that affect heat regulation should talk to their clinician first, and sessions never mix with alcohol.
Can I use HSA or FSA funds?
Saunas and heat therapy are among the categories that can qualify with a Letter of Medical Necessity, decided per order by an independent licensed provider through Truemed at checkout. See the HSA and FSA page.
