Why two results can disagree
People run both, see a five-year spread, and assume one test is broken. Neither is. They are reading different biology on different timescales.
A plausible and common pattern: someone who trained hard and slept badly for a decade, then fixed both six months ago, may read favorably on glycans and unremarkably on methylation. The glycan profile has had time to respond. The methylation record has not caught up, and would not be expected to.
