Description
Your chronological age counts birthdays. This test estimates how your body is aging underneath them. A few drops of blood from a finger-prick, read for DNA methylation patterns, return three different views of how you are aging: a biological age, separate ages for 11 organ systems, and the speed you are aging right now.
What this test measures
DNA methylation is a chemical marking on your DNA that shifts with age, environment and how you live. The laboratory reads over a million of these sites from your sample and runs three published algorithms across them.
Reading your result honestly
An epigenetic clock gives an estimate, not a verdict. Published work has found that epigenetic age readings shift measurably across a single day, so the same person can return different numbers depending on when they collected. That is a property of the biology being read, not a fault in the test. The laboratory itself is highly repeatable: TruDiagnostic reports intraclass correlation coefficients of 0.96 for DunedinPACE and approximately 0.9975 for OMICmAge. The instrument is precise; the thing it measures moves.
Two things follow. Treat a single result as a starting point rather than a fact about you. And when you retest, collect at roughly the same time of day as your first sample, so you are comparing like with like.
Who it is for
This suits someone setting an annual baseline and willing to read a detailed report. Methylation moves slowly, so once a year is a sensible rhythm and the value shows up on the second test rather than the first. What happens to your sample
TruDiagnostic processes your sample and holds your results on their platform. When you register your kit you will be asked to accept TruDiagnostic's terms, which grant them a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, sublicensable and transferable license over the data derived from your sample, including use in product development and the training of AI systems, and that consent survives deletion of your account. We would rather you read that here than meet it for the first time at registration.

Unopened, unactivated kits can be returned within 30 days of delivery; contact us first and we will arrange it. Once a kit has been activated or a sample has been collected, it can no longer be returned, because the laboratory cannot re-use a collected sample.
Cancellations are free any time before your order ships. If your sample fails laboratory quality control, contact us and we will sort out a replacement.
