The Vielight Neuro Duo 4 is Vielight's most complete brain photobiomodulation device, delivering gentle pulsed near infrared light to the brain through both a full transcranial helmet and a patented intranasal module. It gives you access to both Alpha and Gamma modes in a single device, so you can move between calm and focus depending on what you need.

Both modes, one device

• Gamma mode (40Hz) supports focus, information processing, memory, and brain energy. Best used in the morning or early afternoon.
• Alpha mode (10Hz) supports a relaxed resting state: mindfulness, learning, relaxation, and sleep. Ideal for the evening, before bed.

If you only want one of the pulse rates, the Neuro Alpha and Neuro Gamma are available separately. The Duo is for those who want both.

How it works

The Neuro 4 uses five strategically placed Vie-LED modules for full transcranial coverage, with the high powered 810nm light reaching across the wider cortex. A specialized intranasal module then sends light through the nasal channel to reach deeper structures the skull would otherwise block. This top and bottom synergy gives a comprehensive brain energy footprint that transcranial only devices cannot match, with the energy geometry focused on the Default Mode Network, the brain's central resting network.

Why 810nm

The Neuro uses 810nm because it offers superior penetration through tissue and bone. Head to head comparison studies at Harvard Medical School and other leading universities point to 810nm for the strongest tissue penetration and mitochondrial interaction, which is why Vielight built its technology around it.

Industry leading power, no heat

Vielight's patented Vie-LEDs produce among the highest power in the field (around 300 mW/cm² irradiance, roughly 5000mW total) for effective dosimetry, while the technology is engineered to stay cold, stimulating cells without thermal discomfort. The concave shaped modules are designed to bypass hair for better contact.

Using your Neuro Duo 4

Each session is 20 minutes. You can start with every other day and build up to six days a week. The general recommendation is daily use, alternating modes: Gamma earlier in the day, Alpha in the evening.
