BioMat Pro + Mini Bundle

5.0 · 1 review
Sale price$2,700.00
  • Warm, deep relaxation at home or away with a full-size and portable mat
  • Set the exact warmth with adjustable temperature control
  • Peace of mind during long sessions with a low-EMF design
  • Two mats, one system, for less than ordering separately
Two mats, one kind of warmth. Why that matters

Both mats warm the same way: electric heat passes through a layer of amethyst and becomes far infrared, radiant warmth the body absorbs directly instead of through the air. The Pro turns lying down at home into a full-body session, while the Mini fits a chair or a bag. Because this warmth offers temporary relief of minor muscle pain, consistency is the point, and a mat that travels keeps you consistent.

Far infrared warmth is for muscle relaxation and the temporary relief of minor muscle and joint pain. It is not intended to treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Recommended pairing

A flat far-infrared mat gives your whole body a warm surface but nothing to support your head and neck. Many people add the non-electrical amethyst pillow to hold that comfortable position through a full BioMat session.

Description

This bundle pairs the full-size BioMat Pro with the portable BioMat Mini, so you have far-infrared amethyst heat both at home and on the move. One surface for your daily session, one for your desk, your travel, or targeted use. Both now include the germanium waterproof cover.

Two mats, one system, priced below ordering separately. Part of the Restore layer of the Kove stack.

Key details

BioMat Pro + Mini Bundle is a two-mat set that pairs the full-size BioMat Pro with the portable BioMat Mini. Both are far-infrared amethyst mats, and both come with a germanium waterproof cover. The Pro is the full-size surface for a daily home session, while the Mini is the compact surface for a desk, for travel, or for targeted use on one area. Together the two mats work as one system, so the same far-infrared amethyst heat is available at home and on the move. The bundle belongs to the Restore layer of the Kove stack.

It fits routines built around recovery, relaxation, and circulation.

Specific medical advice should be obtained from a licensed health care practitioner.

Why it earns a place in the stack. The Restore layer only pays off when it happens daily, and this bundle removes the excuse of being away from your mat. The Pro anchors your session at home, while the Mini carries far infrared amethyst warmth to a desk or a travel bag, so the routine holds wherever the week takes you.

All three use the same far-infrared layer over natural amethyst and black tourmaline, at 6 to 12 micron, with a digital controller and built-in EMF shielding. The BioMat Pillow is a non-electrical accessory shaped to support the head and neck during a session.

How it works

Three technologies in one mat.

Far-infrared heat

Deep, gentle warmth that many people find comforting for tired muscles and everyday relaxation.

Negative ions

The tourmaline layer emits negative ions during use, a feature many people look for in an at-home mat.

Amethyst + tourmaline

Not decoration. The heating element never touches you; it sits under a bed of natural amethyst and black tourmaline. Stone spreads heat more evenly than wire, so the surface warms without hot spots, and as the stone warms it re-radiates that heat as far infrared. The crystals are the part that turns electric heat into the warmth the mat is built around.

FDA 510(k) cleared, Class II

The BioMat is a cleared medical device (510(k) K072534), indicated for the temporary relief of minor muscle pain, minor joint pain and stiffness, joint pain associated with arthritis, muscle spasms, minor sprains, minor strains, minor muscular back pain, relaxation of muscles, and temporary increase of local circulation where applied.

Choosing between them

A sauna, a mat, or a panel?

All three bring a session into a recovery routine, and plenty of people end up with more than one. They differ less in what they are than in what they ask of you. A mat is something you lie on. A sauna is somewhere you go. A panel is something you sit in front of.

This compares the practical shape of each, not their effects. If a cabin suits your space, our infrared saunas are worth a look; if you want light rather than heat, see the red light panels; if the appeal is lying down at the end of the day without any setup, the mat is the easier habit to keep.

What you are paying for

Why this is not a heated mat

Amethyst-topped infrared mats turn up online for a few hundred dollars, and they can look much the same in a photograph. The differences sit in the layers you cannot see, and in what happens after the sale.

Stone, and how much of it

The Pro carries about 18 lb of natural amethyst and black tourmaline over the heating element, built up in seventeen layers so the surface warms evenly rather than in warm spots over the coils. The stone is the part doing the work, so how much of it is in the mat is not a cosmetic detail.

Independently tested shielding

EMF shielding is built into the construction and tested by Intertek, an outside laboratory. On something you lie on for an hour at a time, that testing is worth having on record.

Cleared, not just registered

Two phrases turn up on infrared mat listings. FDA registered means a company has its facility and product on file with the FDA. FDA cleared means the device itself went through a 510(k) review. The professional mat is the second: FDA 510(k) cleared, Class II, under K072534.

Serviced, not replaced

The BioMat has been in production for more than 25 years, and it comes with a three-year limited warranty plus lifetime trade-in and post-warranty repair programs. These mats are built to be repaired and kept, which is the part a cheap mat cannot offer at all.

A daily priority for immediate and impressive results

I purchased the BioMat to self-care as a yoga therapist, keeping myself grounded and energetically balanced in order to better serve my clients. I've been spending time daily on my BioMat, with immediate and impressive results. I feel more energized as well as better rested. My partner is a nurse who works 13 hour days - often 2-3 days in a row. He now makes spending recovery time on the BioMat a priority.

Our approach

Every product earns its place.

No single thing changes your biology on its own. What matters is the system, and whether each piece earns its place. Here is how a device makes it into Kove.

01

Start with the evidence

Where there is research behind how something works, we read it. We look at the real mechanism a device relies on, like the wavelength, the frequency, or the dose, and whether the evidence holds up. Substance comes before marketing, and we are honest about how strong that evidence is.

02

Separate mechanism from marketing

A claim is not a mechanism. We check a device's real output against its stated one: does the panel emit the 660 and 850nm it advertises, at the irradiance that makes those numbers matter? The marketing language gets set aside. The measurable spec is what we judge.

03

Verify build and dose

Even a good idea does nothing if the hardware is weak. We confirm the output is consistent, the dose is usable in a real daily routine, and the build holds up over years, because a device only helps if it lasts as long as the habit.

04

Held to one standard

What clears every step earns its place in the system, held to the same standard as everything else. That consistency is what you can count on.
