Two neck modules plus a nasal applicator
The Vagus places two modules on either side of the neck and adds an applicator in the nasal channel, so 810 nm near-infrared reaches the area from three points instead of one. That wavelength sits in a band that passes through tissue more readily than visible light. The light pulses at 100 Hz on a 50 percent duty cycle, with no gel and no electrical current, over a timed 20-minute session.

The Vielight Vagus is one of the first photobiomodulation based approaches to the vagus nerve, a non invasive way to support the vagus nerve using gentle pulsed near infrared light instead of electrical current or surgery.
