MitoMIND Near Infrared Helmet
- Run whole-head sessions hands-free, 256 LEDs delivering even 810 nm near-infrared coverage
- Six presets to match your day, Peak Focus to Sleep
- Wind down without electronic noise: battery-powered, no Bluetooth or WiFi, zero flicker
- Stays comfortable through 30-minute sessions with an adjustable, ergonomic fit
Near-infrared shaped to the head, not a flat panel. Why that matters
A helmet curves 256 LEDs around the head so each one sits at a consistent short distance, which a flat panel cannot do on a rounded surface. It runs 810 nm near-infrared, the longer wavelength that passes deeper than red, and lets you set the pulse rate and one of four power levels. It stays flicker-free and carries no Bluetooth or WiFi radios.
Light supports normal cellular processes; it does not treat, cure, or prevent any condition.

Description
The MitoMIND Helmet is a near infrared light therapy helmet designed to support clarity, focus, and everyday brain wellness from home. Inside its shell, 256 precision-placed LEDs deliver 810nm near-infrared light across the scalp, a hands-free form of transcranial photobiomodulation you can run while you read, meditate, or wind down.
The adjustable, ergonomic fit keeps the helmet secure and comfortable, so a session slots easily into a morning focus block or an evening wind-down. Many people use the Concentrate program before deep work and the Sleep program before bed. Prefer broader coverage? A bundle option adds a 1070nm intranasal unit alongside the helmet.
Is this right for you?
You'll get the most from it if
- You already keep a daily anchor, meditation, reading, or deep work, that a session can attach to.
- Near-infrared light is mostly invisible; you are fine trusting the timer rather than watching it work.
- A steady slot most days suits you; this is a routine device, not an occasional gadget.
- Charging is part of the deal; a battery wearable needs topping up between sessions.
Maybe look elsewhere if
- You want light for the body rather than the head; the MitoPRO+ panels cover that.
- Your routine centers on the face; the MitoGLOW mask is the better fit.

Why it earns a place in the stack. Most light therapy works at skin level. This helmet points 810 nm near-infrared at the head instead, the zone your focus blocks and wind-down depend on, with 256 LEDs running hands-free while you read or settle for bed. Six presets pair pulse and power with the state you're after, Concentrate before deep work, Sleep before bed.

Our approach
Every product earns its place.
No single thing changes your biology on its own. What matters is the system, and whether each piece earns its place. Here is how a device makes it into Kove.
01
Start with the evidence
Where there is research behind how something works, we read it. We look at the real mechanism a device relies on, like the wavelength, the frequency, or the dose, and whether the evidence holds up. Substance comes before marketing, and we are honest about how strong that evidence is.
02
Separate mechanism from marketing
A claim is not a mechanism. We check a device's real output against its stated one: does the panel emit the 660 and 850nm it advertises, at the irradiance that makes those numbers matter? The marketing language gets set aside. The measurable spec is what we judge.
03
Verify build and dose
Even a good idea does nothing if the hardware is weak. We confirm the output is consistent, the dose is usable in a real daily routine, and the build holds up over years, because a device only helps if it lasts as long as the habit.
04
Held to one standard
What clears every step earns its place in the system, held to the same standard as everything else. That consistency is what you can count on.
